Following the System Analysis, the first operational step of the Generative methodology, it became clear that the need was to create opportunities for discussion among members (which had almost disappeared after the COVID emergency). These discussions were vital to collectively reflect on Ronda’s future and understand how to maintain the organization’s unchanged contribution to the Milanese community, despite the significant changes underway. The questions that arose were: how can we spark a shared discussion about the organization’s future? How can we establish moments to foster the personal well-being of those working at Ronda? How can we create a new balance that empowers organization members to be active participants in guiding the organization itself?
The collaboration between Maps and Ronda, built on these questions, materialized through several actions. A shared reflection on the association’s organizational structure began, with a group of volunteers forming the Ronda 2.0 Committee. Over the course of a year, this committee worked to produce a document, later approved by the Board of Directors, which provides momentum towards a reorganization of roles based on greater sharing of decision-making and operational responsibilities. This has been, and continues to be, of great help in the organization’s ongoing process of change.
Furthermore, a supervision space for the educational team was created. This space still allows those working in a high-paced operational environment to focus on internal dynamics and promote greater professional and personal well-being.
The relationship with Ronda is still active and, given the strong dynamism that has characterized the organization over the years, remains open to implementing new lines of action to support any future requests.
